Careers
We've had more than a century of success in the Outback. Today we're one of Australia's largest beef producers, with over 200,000 cattle. We value strong family culture and rural traditions, but we also know that getting ahead means looking ahead. So if you combine fresh ideas with a love of the Outback lifestyle, then we have great opportunities ahead.
S. Kidman & Co Ltd aims to attract, motivate and retain the best people available to the industry.
The company's 220 staff are fostered through a program of training and internal promotion. Training programs provide the opportunity to achieve nationally accredited qualifications. Each year an introductory station hand course is run, where selected participants receive training in basic skills, then experience life and work on a Kidman station. Indigenous Australians with their strong connection to the remote outback have always made a valuable contribution to the Kidman workforce.
Safety is our number one priority. We are committed to providing a safe work environment for all staff and contractors.
High quality meals and air-conditioned rooms are provided for staff. Working from stock camps is often part of the routine on Kidman stations.
S. Kidman & Co Ltd is an equal opportunity employer.
