Station Hand Course - Stock Journal

On 18th October 2007, Aimee Pedler from The Stock Journal published an article highlighting the Agricultural industry's increasing difficulty in competing with the Mining industry to attract and retain staff.

Aimee discussed the success of S. Kidman & Co's annual Station Hand Course in attempting to combat some of that competition. She also emphasized the need for it to remain successful over the next few years especially for SA, VIC and NSW which have all become a specific target for the Minerals Council of Australia to help them fill 27,000 trade positions.
