    Payroll / Accounts Officer (Head Office Location) - None
    S. Kidman & Co Ltd is one of Australia's largest Pastoral Companies, with 12 cattle stations and 180,000 cattle across four states. We require an experienced Payroll/Accounts Officer to be based at our North Adelaide office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will liaise with a variety of internal and external clients and be responsible for the following:
    • Weekly and fortnightly processing of payroll for 180 employees
    • Reconciliation and payment of accounts
    • Processing Accounts Receivable
    • Banking
    • Payment of PAYG Deductions and Superannuation contributions
    • Calculation and processing of termination payments
    • Relief Reception Duties
      Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:
    • Previous experience processing payroll for a substantial number of employees, preferably using MicrOpay
    • Previous accounts payable experience
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Above average in Microsoft Office
    • Be able to work independently yet communicate well
    • Enjoy the variety of tasks provided by working in a small office
    • Have a willing and positive attitude
      There may be opportunity for some flexibility with working hours for this position.

    Station Hand (Level depends on experience) - All Properties
    Opportunites for employment as a Station Hand may be available throughout the season across S. Kidman & Co's extensive portfolio of cattle stations.

    The primary responsibilities of Station Hand personnel include:
    • Assisting with effective and timely herd management, including: mustering, branding, weaning, culling, sales, herd health programs and segregation of livestock classes;
    • Observing and reporting land and environmental issues on the property;
    • Observing safe work procedures;
    • Undertaking vehicle maintenance;
    • Assisting with maintaining and developing facilities and improvements upon the station;
    • Assisting with record keeping;
    • Maintaining good verbal communication.

    Applicants with skills in cattle handling, horse and motor bike riding will be strongly regarded.
