Woomanooka Outstation

Woomanooka is an outstation that exists to support Durham Downs. Located on the opposite side of the Cooper Creek, it provides complete coverage of the property during a flood event.

Woomanooka also provides a good base for mustering and allows for two smaller stock camps to work independently or combine for mustering.

An outstation manager, under the direction of Durham Downs, ensures the smooth running of this part of the property. The outstation manager is supported by a team of two to three station hands, as well as a cook/gardener.
