Hancock is grateful to have won the Business Excellence Award for Agriculture, Food & Beverage at tonight’s AustCham Westpac Australia-China Business Awards (ACBAs) in Hong Kong.

The ACBAs has for 25 years been an important way of recognising companies working between Australia and China, promoting trade and economic ties between our two nations.

The Business Excellence Award for Agriculture, Food & Beverage recognises an Australian or Chinese company that has performed with excellence, demonstrated commercial success and furthered Australia-China trade and investment in the field of agriculture, food & beverage over the past year.

Hancock Prospecting Executive Chairman Gina Rinehart said: “We are delighted to win this award, thank you. China is a very important market for Hancock’s beef and agricultural exports. We have worked over many years build strong and positive relations with our Chinese financiers, suppliers and customers. We value these important relationships. Only recently we have arranged to import the Milbank electric UTVs to help us lower our fuel bills, for our farms and feedlots. We’re thrilled that at our 2GR Wagyu product in particular has been received very well in China, and have invested significantly in our Bannister Downs joint venture dairy operations to be able to supply more of our premium milk, Australia’s best double cream and other dairy products to China.”
